Milton Athletic Boosters
Since its inception in 1958, the Milton Athletic Boosters continue to be an active and vital part of our school community. This year this group made many donations to ensure athletic competitiveness locally, regionally and statewide. Meeting the first Monday of every month in the Milton Area Senior High School cafeteria, for the 2012 - 2013 school year, this dynamic group has provided over $34,000 to our athletes along with medicine balls, wrestling mats, 94fifty - a basketball training system, break away banner, all the awards, plaques and jackets our athletes receive as league, district and state champs, Banner updates in the gymnasium, and 10 - $500.00 scholarships to athletes per year.
Currently the officers include: Mr. Pete Bergen, President; Mr. Kevin Fry, Vice President; Mrs. D'Arcy Sampsel, Secretary; Mrs. Karen Bergen, Treasurer; and 3 trustees - Ozzy Engleman, Barry Pidcoe and Frank Kovilaritch.
Through the efforts of the Booster Club, our athletics continue to excel as proven in the 2012 - 2013 school year. Go Black Panthers!

ALL funds that are raised by the Milton Booster Club is spent on our student athletes and the programs they participate in. The Booster Club operates soley on volunteer support. Listed below are examples of how the funds support the programs:
- Purchase of training equipment for the program that Mike Mertz provides.
- Purchase HUDLE programs for use by all teams.
- Purchase wrestling mats.
- Update banners as needed.
- Annual scholarships to Senior Athletes.
- Annual Outstanding Senior Awards.
- Recognition of athletes who progress to the State level of competition.
- End of season awards.
- Pays entry fees to offseason competition/training events for all sports.
- Cookie Jar Money for all teams.
- Cheerleaders breakaway banner.
- Purchase 94Fifty Program for basketball.
- Purchase basketball rebounder.
- Maintain equipment as needed in the weight rooms for HS and JHS.
- Purchase of new scoreboards.
There are many other areas of suport that the Booster Club provides. These are only a few examples.
We couldn't do what we do for our Student Athletes and the Athletic Programs without the support of the community! We thank you for your continued support!

Recently, the Milton Area Booster Club purchased a training program called "94fifty" for the Girls and Boys basketball teams. This program will help with shooting, passing, and dribbling.

The building plans have been approved for our patio roof at the rear of the FB Concession Stand. Shane Schreck and his Drafting Class drew up the plans, Hiller and Albert Associates approved the them and our own Mr Van Kirks Building Trades will construct it! Thanks to all!!!

ATHLETIC PHYSICALS FOR THE 2013-2014 SCHOOL YEAR ARE SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 4TH AND 5TH FROM 2:00PM - 5:00PM IN THE NURSES OFFICE LOCATED IN THE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL. 6TH GRADE AND UP, IF YOU ARE GOING TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL OR HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS NEXT YEAR, GET THEM NOW! THEY ARE FREE!!!!
